No-Bake 5 Ingredients Granola Bar

Don't buy expensive unhealthy snacks and make these no-bake vegan granola bars with just 5 ingredients. Perfect snack for a busy day at work or school or on a road.

Ingredients for 5 Ingredients Granola Bar


  • 1 cup - full medjool dates, pitted

  • 1/4 cup creamy natural peanut butter or almond butter

  • 1 cup almonds, loosely chopped 

  • 1 1/2 cups rolled oats 

  • 1 tsp cinnamon


Optional Addition Ideas:

  • chocolate chips

  • dried fruit

  • nuts

  • chia seeds

  • hemp seeds

  • rice puffs

  • vegan protein powder



Instructions


  1. Process dates in a food processor (about 1 minute). It should form a "dough" like consistency.

  2. In a large bowl add oats, almonds and dates and set aside

  3. Warm maple syrup and peanut butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir and pour over oat mixture and then mix it in.

  4. Once thoroughly mixed, transfer to a baking dish or other small pan lined with baking paper. 

  5. Press down firmly until flattened – I use something flat, like a drinking glass, to press down and really pack the bars, which helps them hold together better.

  6. Cover with another baking paper and let firm up in a fridge or freezer for 15-20 minutes.

  7. Remove bars from pan and chop into even bars.

  8. Store in an airtight container for up to a few days. I kept mine in the freezer to keep them extra fresh + they will last for up to 1 month.
